Zedfactory - Architects

Zedfactory had problems with storage and the stability of their exchange server. Working with high definition files they had outgrown their storage server. The work had to be done over the weekend for minimum disruption. They needed to expand their storage by about 1Tb for the next two years. Their exchange server being server 2000 was letting in too much spam, to add to their woes the server database was too small to accommodate their 20 users. Techlandsoftware put into place a Terabyte San into place and moved some of the data off their main server along with the mappings for client access. The Data from the old exchange server was moved over to the new server (Exchange 2003), and brought on line after all the relevant patches were in place. The Backups were improved to accommodate the new system and increased volume of data.
The works were finished by Monday. This solution brought greater stability to the E-mail server and added storage space for future growth.
